The good news (Gospel) of Jesus is one in which Jesus tells us that it is difficult to follow Him, to be part of His Kingdom. To follow Jesus.
It is more than just saying a prayer one day.It is about the narrow path vs the wide path. The wide path is about doing nothing, just an easy believism..Jesus taught something different: In this world, you will have tribulation

All Believers Are Anointed Priests

Moses was anointed by God; he then anointed Aaron and the Priests of God. )Number 8:5-13)
Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit (By God) Luke 4:18; He then anointed the 120 disciples in the Upper Room with and by the Holy Spirit. (John 20:22)
All Christians are anointed directly by the Lord for Ministry (Ephesians 4)..
We are called a "Royal Priesthood" (1 Peter 2:9)
So what are we to be doing??

Foundations of Christianity

Hebrews 6:1-3 lists the foundational doctrines of Christianity.
There are 6 of them: Repentance , Faith, Baptisms, Laying on of Hands, Resurrection of the dead, and the Judgement.
These are in the order of our walk in Him; and they are listed in couplets.
You may not have heard these taught very often. However, we need to understand them before we move on in our faith.
PS  I believe that Paul wrote the book of Hebrews..

All Believers Are Anointed

God gave gifts to all believers:   Ephesians 3, Romans 12, & 1 Corinthians 12..The Holy Spirit indwells, empowers, and, in fact, anoints all in one or more of those gifts..
This anointing for His purpose in our lives is also called Sanctification

Does God Speak to Us Today?

God speaks to us today through His word,
There are also times that He directs us and even speaks truths into our lives

Isaiah 53: Jesus Crucified

Isaiah 53 is clearly about Jesus suffering on the cross.
Wounded and beaten for our sin (transgressions & iniquities)
This is perhaps the most amazing prophecy found in Old Testament about Jesus.
Chapter 53 is one reason that Isaiah has been called "The Fifth Gospel"
 
 

Some Steps of A Disciple of Jesus

1. Learn to trust the Lord
2. Get alone with God
3. Deny Yourself
4. Take up The Cup of Suffering
These are some of the ways that you can follow Jesus.
If you are His you will follow Him; if not, then you will just look for the Lord to do something for you,,

Set Apart for His Purpose

All followers of Jesus are to be set apart for His purposes.
He had a plan for you, even before He created the universe...Ephesians 2:10
Being Sanctified means to be set apart for a purpose...His purpose
If you are in His will in this, then you experience the "Abundant Life" that Jesus promised.
